The Milwaukee Dairymen picked up a win at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium, taking down the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 7-1. Starting pitcher Jeff Munoz was a big reason why. Munoz, who is tied for 5th in the NBL with a 2.83 ERA, went the distance for Milwaukee. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. With the win, Milwaukee pushed its record to 81-65.

Milwaukee left fielder Larry Morford contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 156th hit of the season and put the Dairymen ahead, 3-1.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Morford said after the game.
