Hurons Rally to Nose Past Baltimore
The Toronto Hurons wiggled past the Baltimore Lords, 3-2, in 10 innings at Dominion Field. The win was highlighted by the performance of Toronto pitcher Bill John. The Hurons, at 68-79, inhabit 5th place in the American Baseball League Eastern Division.

The Hurons got a clutch hit from third baseman Jeff McPhearson. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hurons.

John said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
