Hurons Win Nail-Biter in 10
The Toronto Hurons used a stellar performance from pitcher Dan Crumm to throttle the Montreal offense en route to an extra-inning, 3-2 win at LaSalle Stadium. Dave Hamilton notched his 5th save in 8 chances. The Hurons, at 72-75, inhabit 4th place in the American Baseball League Eastern Division.

Toronto used the timely hitting of Max Lasseter to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hurons on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame comments to the Toronto Gazette, Lasseter said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
