Packers Collect 1-0 Win Over Bulls
Cincinnati left-hander Rollie Rumler helped his team edge Kansas City by the score of 1-0 in 10 innings. Rumler kept the opposing lineup in check. Cincinnati reliever Steve Meckley picked up the win to move to 5-3. Steve Eaton suffered the loss. Cincinnati is now 71-79, Kansas City 48-102.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Cincinnati center fielder Ron Brown, facing Steve Eaton, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Packers the 1-0 win.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Rumler.
