Emeralds Topple Wolverines with Late Rally
The Seattle Emeralds locked up a win at Puget Field, knocking off the Detroit Wolverines, 6-4. On the mound for Seattle was right-hander Mike Harris. He played a major role in the triumph. Seattle has now won 3 straight, while the Wolverines have lost 3 in a row.

Dennis England drove in one run for Seattle. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, England had a clutch at-bat. Facing Detroit hurler Darrell Klug, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Emeralds a 5-4 lead.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said England.
