Emeralds Lose, 7-6, in 12
Fans who congregated at Mission Field were treated to extra-inning drama.

The San Francisco Seagulls defeated the Seattle Emeralds in 12 innings, 7-6, in part because of first baseman Scott Wagner. Wagner was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Seagulls. With the win, the Seagulls sit at 85-64.

The Seagulls got a clutch hit from catcher Jose Barroso. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Seagulls.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Wagner.
