Chicago had no answer for two-time All-Star Syed Farooqi. The Twin Cities Northmen starter stymied Hawks hitters, helping the Northmen cruise to victory, 11-1. The Northmen now own a record of 66-83.
Farooqi, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 8-13. In 8.2 innings of work, Farooqi gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while racking up 6 Ks. He kept the Hawks punchless, offensively.
