The San Francisco Seagulls clipped the Seattle Emeralds, 8-7, in 15 innings at Mission Field. The standout performance belonged to San Francisco pitcher and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, native Reggie Wright. San Francisco reliever Chuck Porter was the winner. His record is now 3-4. The losing pitcher was Pedro Molina. San Francisco has now won 3 straight, while the Emeralds have lost 3 in a row.

The Seagulls got a clutch hit from catcher Darrell Martin. In the bottom of the 15th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Seagulls.

In postgame comments, Wright said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
