The Denver Burros downed the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 7-5, at Gates Crescent Park. The Burros were led by Tom Clark. Clark went 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The winner was Bart Dunsley, who threw 97 pitches over 6.2 innings. The left-hander was charged with 5 runs on 9 hits. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Bob Langham.
