Blockbusters Absorb 7-1 Loss at San Diego Sporting Complex
San Diego pitcher Dave Fields had a large part in his team subduing the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 7-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Fields got the win, improving to 7-10. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. The Captains lead the National Baseball League Western Division by 4½ games.
