The Los Angeles Blockbusters picked up a win at Blockbuster Stadium, courtesy of Billy Duprey. The left-hander helped his team stop the San Diego Captains, 2-1. Los Angeles is now 67-83, San Diego 72-78.

Duprey had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second to put Los Angeles in front, 2-0. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he grounded out, driving in 1 run off San Diego pitcher Bret Weingartz.

Duprey attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
