Lintner was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Mike Hoskins was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 2 save opportunities. The victory puts Boston at 59-91.
Paul Knight chipped in a 3-run home run for Boston in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the catcher had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 2 home runs, 1 single, 3 runs scored, and 4 runs batted in.
