Wranglers Suffer 3-2 Home Defeat
The Dallas Wranglers got a superb performance from pitcher Art Stager, but the Seattle Emeralds still won the game, 3-2. Stager threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Seattle starter Bill Lemley was credited with the win after throwing 63 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 3-3. With this game in the books, Seattle is 69-82, Dallas 80-71.

Dustin Guest, who led the ABL in batting average with .332 in 1970, had a direct impact on the outcome. Guest contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Seattle up, 3-2.
