Denver rode a decent outing from starter Bart Dunsley to victory over the Los Angeles Blockbusters. The final score was 5-2. Albert Green was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.

Gordy Gregory, the 24-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Gregory contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Denver up, 3-2.

"Bart was Bart," said Burros manager Clark Anderson. "He gave it all he's got."

The win puts Denver at 12-4.
