|
In a tightly-contested game between the Brooklyn Bluebirds and the New York Knickerbockers, pitcher Dave Teckenbrock was outstanding. The Brooklyn right-hander, who is a two-time All-Star, propelled his team's 2-0 win. The winner was Teckenbrock. He threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Bruce Orrick.
