Riding the 3-hit performance of the 29-year old center fielder Dan Arrington, the Seattle Emeralds stopped the Dallas Wranglers, 3-2. The 4th-place Emeralds have won 4 straight.

Arrington had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-1 fastball from Joaquin Hernandez, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Emeralds a 3-1 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Arrington.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Seattle skipper Mark Velez. "I can't complain."
