|
The Montreal Habitants picked up a win at LaSalle Stadium, knocking off the Seattle Emeralds, 4-3. Starting pitcher Bob Schar played a key role in the triumph. Schar, now 17-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Hervé Lelièvre earned his 9th save in 14 chances.
