Burros Win with Late Rally
The Denver Burros overcame a big game from Kansas City right fielder Ken Durick to pick up a win at Gates Crescent Park. The final score was 6-5, Denver, in 10 innings. Durick went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Denver reliever Manny Esparza picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Tom Mitchell took the loss. Denver leads the National Baseball League Western Division by 10 games.

The Burros got a clutch hit from first baseman Alejandro Rebolledo. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Burros.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Rebolledo said.
