Wranglers Rally to Nose Past San Francisco
|
Both offenses were relatively subdued at Mission Field. Fortunately for the Dallas Wranglers, though, Rick Adams was able to deliver in the clutch. He went 2-3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2, to lead his team past the San Francisco Seagulls, 3-2. With the victory, the Wranglers upped their record to 77-75.
Adams had a timely hit for Dallas in the top of the eighth. With Dallas trailing 2-1, he turned a 0-1 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 3-2, Dallas.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Adams told the Dallas Today.
