Mojica Leads Chicago Past St. Louis
Chicago met St. Louis in a late-season showdown.

Chicago Traders pitcher Jose Mojica was in fine form, leading his team past the St. Louis Explorers, 4-0. The Traders lead the National Baseball League Western Division by 5 games.

It was a masterful performance from the popular Mojica, who notched 6 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 3 hits. Mojica, who led the NBL in ERA with 2.38 in 1975, goes to 22-8 on the year with 134 strikeouts.

"I'm just out there trying to have as much fun as I can while I'm playing," Mojica told the Chicago Bulletin.
