The San Francisco Seagulls, behind a great outing from Dennis Fulton, who finished 4th in the NBL in wins with 19 in 1961, defeated the Los Angeles Pobladores, 3-1, at San Vicente Park. At 91-61, the Seagulls have a slim two-game lead in the American Baseball League Western Division.
San Francisco starter Dennis Fulton was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 9 innings.
