The Pittsburgh Industrials, despite a fine performance by New York pitcher Ollie Hundley, grabbed a 2-1 win at Knickerbocker Stadium. Hundley allowed 2 runs over 8 innings. Bob Cole locked down his 2nd save. Pittsburgh goes to 6-10.

The Industrials got a big at-bat from left fielder Don Keough. For the game, Keough went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Pittsburgh a 2-0 lead.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Keough.
