Bob Underwood was a vital contributor to the 8-4 New York victory over Cleveland. The Knickerbockers right fielder was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. With the victory, the Knickerbockers upped their record to 81-73.

Underwood contributed in the top of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It was one at-bat among others that helped New York get the win.

"Solid performance from our side," said Knickerbockers manager Timothy Widholm.
