Williams Stars in 2-1 Milwaukee Win
|
Milwaukee Municipal Stadium hosted an old-fashioned pitchers' duel.
Keith Williams pitched a gem in leading Milwaukee to a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Quakers. The 5th-place Dairymen now have a win-loss record of 72-83.
Williams scattered 2 hits over 9 innings for the Dairymen. With the win, Williams goes to 13-7 on the year with 103 strikeouts.
"Keith was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley.
