Baltimore picked up a win at Queens Field, toppling the New York Empires, 4-2. Pitcher Mark Sanders was one of the reasons the Lords triumphed. The Lords' win now puts them at 86-69.
Jim Pavlik aided the Baltimore cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk.
