The Denver Burros defeated the Cleveland Bobcats, 4-3, in 11 innings in National Baseball League action at Gates Crescent Park. Denver pitcher Kim Glanden had a standout performance. Denver has now won 3 in a row.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Denver pinch hitter David Wallace, facing Steve Cheatham, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Burros the 4-3 win.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Cleveland manager Daniel Mays said, following the tough loss.
