Blockbusters Rally to Eke Out Win
The Los Angeles Blockbusters picked up a win at Blockbuster Stadium, taking down the Kansas City Bulls, 4-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for Los Angeles was left-hander Billy Duprey. He played a central role in the triumph. Wayne Guilmette picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-8. Andy Luce suffered the loss. By defeating Kansas City, the 5th-place Blockbusters improved to 71-85.

The Blockbusters got a clutch hit from shortstop Pedro Villamil. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Blockbusters.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Villamil said.
