The Seattle Emeralds defeated the Atlanta Generals, 5-3, at Atlantic Station Field. Leading the charge for Seattle was right fielder Alex Rojas. He was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times. The win gives Seattle a record of 8-7.

Seattle used a well-timed hit by Dave Robertson to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Emeralds ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Emeralds manager Mark Velez.
