|
The Cleveland Bobcats picked up a win at Knickerbocker Stadium, knocking off the New York Knickerbockers, 2-1. Starting pitcher Myron Baird was a big reason why. The loss makes New York 76-80.
Baird, who is tied for 6th in the NBL in strikeouts with 152, pitched a complete game for Cleveland. Baird surrendered 6 hits over 9 innings and struck out 6. With the win, he moves to 13-11 on the season.
