Terriers Topple Empires with Late Rally
Queens Field was the site of a competitive game between the New York Empires and Boston Terriers.

Despite a fine performance by third baseman Rick Lintner, the New York Empires lost to the Boston Terriers, 5-3. Lintner went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. With the win, the Terriers are 50-105.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Jeff Milton? The 21-year old right fielder Milton stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put Boston up, 5-3. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

Milton said his team "played with focus."
