|
Seattle pitcher Denny Goldberg did his part in helping his team beat the Los Angeles Pobladores, 7-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The win gives Seattle a record of 9-6.
Dustin Guest aided the Seattle cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.
"We're our own worst enemy right now," said Los Angeles skipper Kurt Peterson.
