Brooklyn Bats Silenced by Hull
Fans at Knickerbocker Stadium witnessed the New York Knickerbockers blank the Brooklyn Bluebirds, 2-0, on the strength of a superb effort from starter Chris Hull. The New York right-hander allowed 3 hits in recording the shutout.

"Chris was good today, but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," New York manager Brandon Tucker said. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it."

This year, Hull has compiled a 12-7 mark with a 3.73 ERA.
