Traders Earn Late 8-7 Win
Chicago Traders starter Jose Mojica found his groove in his team's 8-7 win over the Milwaukee Dairymen. The win was credited to Jimmy Calhoun in relief. His record improves to 7-10. Arnie Keilman took the loss. Randy Weisenberg notched his 42nd save in 47 chances.

Walt McCord came through with a big-time hit for Chicago. The center fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Chicago manager Larry Link.

The Chicago win streak is now 3 games.
