Industrials Use Late Score to Top Quakers, 6-5
The Pittsburgh Industrials defeated the Philadelphia Quakers by the score of 6-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Alex Robinson. Robinson was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Industrials on the day. Pittsburgh, at 93-64, is 9 games up in the National Baseball League Eastern Division.

Robinson had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-0 sinker from Bill Smith, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Industrials a 6-4 lead. It was the 17th home run of the year for Robinson.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Robinson.
