San Francisco Tacks 3-1 Loss on Seattle
|

Carroll got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Fred Wild was tagged with the loss. San Francisco goes to 92-66. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.
The Seagulls got a big at-bat from catcher Jose Barroso. For the game, Barroso was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 25th home run of the season gave San Francisco a 3-0 lead.
