Pobladores Pop Northmen, 10-4
The 10-4 Los Angeles win over Twin Cities was due in large part to Mario Abreu. The Pobladores left fielder was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. The win lifted the Los Angeles record to 88-70.

Dave Wynn had a big bases-clearing triple for the Pobladores in the top of the second inning. With Los Angeles leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Edgar Trask and swatted a triple to center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pobladores ahead, 4-0.

Los Angeles manager Alex Wobbema commended his team for "putting the pedal to the metal."
