Philadelphia reliever Gary Arnold picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Brian Long absorbed the loss. Their 75-84 record puts the Quakers 6th in the National Baseball League Eastern Division.

Galen Brandon was the walk-off hero for Philadelphia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Quakers pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was electric at the end," Brandon said.
