The Chicago Traders rode a solid performance from 28-year-old starting pitcher Skip Crawford to a win, beating the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 3-1, at Blockbuster Stadium. Chicago has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.

Rafael Fuentes, who is tied for 10th in the NBL in triples with 8, had a direct impact on the outcome. Fuentes contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Chicago up, 1-0.
