Bozza Helps Hawks Beat Pobladores, 7-2
At San Vicente Park, the Los Angeles Pobladores and Chicago Hawks were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Chicago catcher Don Bozza was instrumental in helping the Hawks triumph, 7-2, over the Los Angeles Pobladores. Bozza was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The win puts Chicago at 61-99.

Early in the game, Bozza had a 2-run home run for Chicago. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Hawks on top, 2-0.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Los Angeles skipper Kurt Peterson.
