Los Angeles Draws Blanks Against Church
Dave Church was in a mood to talk following the Twin Cities Northmen contest against the Los Angeles Pobladores, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Pobladores, 6-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Church said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked Los Angeles on a 3-hitter, allowing 1 walk and racking up 4 strikeouts.
