Blockbusters Win Nail-Biter in 10
The Los Angeles Blockbusters cut down the San Diego Captains by the score of 5-4, with the largest share of the credit going to catcher Frank Bohley. Bohley went 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Blockbusters. Los Angeles reliever Cardell Franklin picked up the win, upping his record to 13-7. Jack DeWitt absorbed the loss. The 5th-place Blockbusters have won 5 straight games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Los Angeles second baseman Bill May, facing Jack DeWitt, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Blockbusters the 5-4 win.

"He who laughs last laughs best," May said, postgame.
