Bob Underwood was a vital contributor to the 7-6 New York victory over Pittsburgh. The Knickerbockers left fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. New York reliever Joe Walker picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. John Lonergan was saddled with the loss. With the win, New York has a record of 79-82.
