Castro Helps New York Cruise to 12-3 Win
The New York Empires put together a convincing win at Atlantic Avenue Grounds, defeating the Boston Terriers, 12-3. Al Castro was one of the hitting stars. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for New York. New York raised its record to 84-77 with the win.

Early in the game, Castro had a 3-run home run for New York. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Empires on top, 4-1.

"We came out aggressive," said Empires manager Dan Whiting. "We came out swinging the bats."
