Denver Makes It 6 Straight with 6-5 Win
The Denver Burros had to overcome a big game from Philadelphia catcher Fred Johnson to leave Quakers Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 6-5. Johnson hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Denver has won 6 straight, while Philadelphia has lost 3 in a row.

Denver won the game in part because of Jamie Robinson. The third baseman ripped a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Burros ahead, 6-5. For the game, Robinson had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Denver manager Clark Anderson.
