Gilmore Now 20-5 After Beating Emeralds
|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Dallas Wranglers and the Seattle Emeralds. Dallas won it, 2-0. Dallas starter Barry Gilmore was in command. Ken Morrison converted his 4th save in 8 tries. With the win over Seattle, the Wranglers improved to 84-78.
Gilmore imposed his will on the Emeralds, scattering 6 hits over 8.2 innings while striking out 9. The right-hander upped his season record to 20-5.
