Pelletier, Bobcats Wallop Bluebirds, 11-1
|
The Cleveland Bobcats defeated the Brooklyn Bluebirds by the score of 11-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Don Pelletier. Pelletier went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2 for the Bobcats on the day. The Bluebirds fall to 7-10 and continue their sub-.500 start to the 1975 season.
Early in the game, Pelletier had a 2-run home run for Cleveland. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Bobcats on top, 2-0.
"We hit the ball hard," said Cleveland manager Daniel Mays. "Line drive after line drive."
