Twin Cities Northmen starter Bob Freeland had all his pitches working at Puget Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 9-0 Twin Cities win over the Seattle Emeralds. With the win, Twin Cities is 7-10.

Freeland, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 8 innings for the Northmen. For the most part, Seattle hitters were simply overmatched.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Freeland. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
