Wranglers Deal Habitants 5-1 Defeat
|
The Montreal Habitants went down to defeat to Charlie Sokol and his Dallas teammates. The final score was 5-1, in favor of the Wranglers. The Wranglers, with just their 5th win so far in 1976, have yet to catch fire.
Pat Simmons, who finished 2nd in the ABL in triples with 10 in 1974, aided the Dallas cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Michel Alexandre Cauchon.
