Dairymen Spill Bulls, 8-4
Starting pitcher Randy Adams pitched well enough to help the Milwaukee Dairymen beat the Kansas City Bulls, 8-4. Adams, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 4 runs. Milwaukee is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 6th win in 17 games.

Leon Hughes had a big 2-run home run for the Dairymen in the top of the second inning. With Milwaukee leading 2-0 and a runner on 3rd, he sized up a splitter from former first round draft pick Skip Carter and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Dairymen on top, 4-0.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Milwaukee skipper Brandon Dudley.
