Toronto got a first-rate effort from pitcher Tom DeGagne, who frustrated Baltimore hitters en route to a 1-0 Hurons triumph at Seton Hill Stadium. The winner in relief was Joe Scott. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. The win has Toronto at 7-11.

Max Lasseter, who is tied for 6th in the ABL in hits with 22, had a direct impact on the outcome. Lasseter contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning to put Toronto up, 1-0.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Baltimore skipper Steve Read.
