Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Atlanta Generals and Boston Terriers.

Atlanta turned a fine outing from starter Alfredo Morales into a victory over the Boston Terriers at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. The final score was 3-2. Morales yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 4, and struck out 4. His record improves to 3-0.

The Generals got a big at-bat from right fielder Jose Nova. For the game, Nova was 1 for 2 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Atlanta a 3-2 lead.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Morales said.
