Twin Cities registered a win at Twin Cities Stadium by beating the Baltimore Lords, 6-3. Pitcher Bob Freeland was one reason why the Northmen triumphed. Rick Lindstrom, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. Baltimore is now 1-1.
With the game tied, 0-0, in the bottom of the fifth, Freeland had a key at-bat for Twin Cities. With the bases loaded, Freeland hit a 2-run single off John Pardoe, making the score 2-0, Northmen.
"Bob pitched like a champ," said Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim.
