Knickerbockers Deal Industrials 4-0 Loss
|
Right-hander Dave Torre mesmerized the Pittsburgh Industrials while leading the New York Knickerbockers to a 4-0 victory. In 7.1 innings, Torre surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 0. He allowed no runs. So far, the 1973 season has been disappointing for Pittsburgh, now 8-11.
