The New York Empires downed the Boston Terriers, 6-5, at Queens Field. The Empires were led by Javier Abarca. Abarca was 2-2 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Empires, now 13-5, have played inspired baseball.
