Already down in the Divisional Round, the Cleveland Bobcats put on their best show, beating the Pittsburgh Industrials by a final score of 9-7. Jim Shuman was special. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Cleveland now trails Pittsburgh 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

In the top of the fourth, Cleveland right fielder Alan Romano had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out, Romano stroked a 2-run double to left. It made the score 9-5, Cleveland. For the game, he was 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"We were a little off-kilter to start the series, but we're getting things figured out now," Cleveland manager Daniel Mays told reporters. "At least I hope we are."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Allegheny Field in Pittsburgh.
