The San Diego Captains got an exceptional performance from starter Ray Heath, who silenced the Denver offense en route to a 3-0 shutout win in Game 3 of the Divisional Round. The Burros could never get a bead on the right-handed Heath, who threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball. The Captains now hold a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Heath went the distance for San Diego. He allowed no runs on 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 5.

Heath said his team "played with focus."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at San Diego Sporting Complex in San Diego.
